Instructions for recording via analogue in for Canon MV600i needed

I've misplaced my user manual for my camcorder, and need to find how to record to tape from an external analogue signal.

So far, I am able to view the input on the cam screen, but unable to record to tape.

Any MV6* owners still in possesion of their manuals, and able to instruct me?
