Hey guys,

I'm just copying large quantities of video files from one HDD (external) to another (internal), and every once in a while I get a Windows error message saying "Insufficient resources exist to complete the requested service" with no actual error code.
I've never had this problem, so I was wondering what it could be and if there is a fix out there. :)

Thanks

I've been getting these too when copying large files from my work XP laptop to a Windows 7 Ultimate machine.

I've looked on the internet and most of the links I found seemed to refer to it being a SQL type problem, there is supposed to be a registry fix related to this SQL type problem but I never tried it as I didn't see the connection.

Annoying thing is once you get the error you can't then connect to that machine till I've rebooted the XP laptop.

Really? I googled the problem as well and a lot of people are saying that it maybe due to programs that are already running. I'm not sure if this can help you, but I stopped my uTorrent download application, and, sure as hell, I haven't had a message since. :)
Look at the programs you're running and one by one, shut them down. It might solve your problem as it did with me.
