Sounds like an oxymoron, but I'd like to use this for more than just summer. As you can see from the picture below it has a damp proof "breathable" membrane on the walls. Following on from this thread, which I am still considering should funds permit:

Can anyone advise the best insulation and cladding for the walls, ceiling and floor that I should use? I was thinking:

Insulation

Walls - rockwool
Ceiling - foil lined bubble wrap stuff
Floor - No idea

Cladding

Absolutely no idea on this, wanted to do it as cheap as possible but OSB or plywood would look pretty naff. For the floor I'll just use tongue and groove pine.

I've insulated my shed with foil bubble, cheap effective and easy to do with a hand heavy duty type staple gun.
The YBS branded rolls from Toolstation seemed the best value, similar enough price to what Wickes were offering but double sided and didn't rip as easily.

For the floor you could put down EPS with a nicer flooring over the top.

polystyrene sheet for all, pir board for floor covered by something like thin floorboards (its denser and will stand up better than polystyrene)

I would clad the inside with thin "cheap" T&G cladding.

Its really more about what sort of look you want vs the cost.
https://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Softwood-Timber-Traditional-Cladding-8x94x3000mm/p/9000033784 for example is "only" £13 a SQM you would have quite a nice look then with cladded insulated walls.

Thanks all. I think the polystyrene for the floor will work well, and bubble wrap elsewhere.

I'd like the tongue and groove look for the walls but it's going to be about £300 for the wood. Was hoping it would be less but I guess that's the price I need to pay to get a more premium look.

Bit more rustic but I used strips of pallet wood, although for me it was simply something I could screw into.
Not a bad idea. I might consider that for the floor and sand it down.

Also, shall I insulate first and then add the electrics? I'm not bothered about hiding wires I'm happy to have it running through external trunking.

I surface mounted in our cabin, its a slightly rustic feel, but the chances of rodents or something are massively increased somewhere like that so wouldnt want them nibbling away inside the walls if it came to that
far better to surface mount and be able to get at them if you need to than to have to start taking the wall off
