Insulating loft hatch.

Hi all,

Just a quickie. How would I go about doing the above on the cheap? It's literally a board in a hole so not a posh hatch.

Suggestions say insulation in a bag strapped to the hatch but I'm not sure if this is safe or not.

Sorry for not posting I forgot I had made this thread.

Thanks for all the advice. The polystyrene route looks the easiest and possibly the cheapest. I may have some draught excludes somewhere but they are dirt cheap anyway.
