Insurance companies...wtf :/

I am looking for insurance as it is due for renewal in around 2 weeks, and i was just on the ecar website getting a quote.

This quote came through at £1,359.00 TPFT for my clio

10 minutes later i have just recieved a phone call off of them asking if i want to take out a policy for £1,700.

Why do they do this? Is it just to get at me that i have to spend over a grand to insure something that is pathetic?

Already have and it is still stupid, i wish she listened to me in the first year i was driving and put me as the main driver, seeing as i was

Done that one aswell with my 1 year named driver discount and still came out with the cheapest one of £1350 or something silly

Get a quote with Bell. Add your mum/sister/any other female with some NCB as named drivers.

I added my mum and it was £50 more than without her on there

Get on the dog and bone and do it the old fashioned way

Will do after my mum has to quinn to find out how much it is with me as the main driver, cause then i have a starting point at least, been nagging her since saturday

Just got a quote off norwich union, and to be honest they definately did quote me happy at £3200 odd for TPFT insurance

you could try Quinn dierect. Im only paying 600 a year, 19, 2 yrs ncb, with a mitsa colt mirage.

There quite good with c-s too.

With them at the minute, and waiting for the mother to phone em and try edit her policy, she just wont :/
