Are there any of you who are younger riders on big bikes that have found certain companies particularly 'cheap'?

Have my mod2 test next Wednesday and want to get my Z insured immediately if I pass!

It has a couple of non-performance enhancing mods (tail tidy, LED indicators, crash bungs) so I'm looking for a company that doesn't think these are going to make me 1000% more likely to crash  I'd also like to fit an after market can and power commander in a month or two.

I remember seeing a post by some lucky 22 year old with a Ducati that had a couple of mods. Can't remember who it was?

Buy bike or Ride magazine, any mag with insurance ads.

Call ALL of them.
Takes ages but it is worth it, online prices are allways higher than that you can haggle on the phone.

Just took out fully comp on the z750 for £545 from wicked quotes with a few mods declared that made no difference to the price. (tail tidy, hugger, crash bungs, brake and clutch levers ) I thought It was going to cost almost double that for fully comp so I'm fairly happy. :)

Think it might have been me with the 749 :P

Ended up costing me around a grand though! I'll remember that name for next year though.

Ride safe and don't kill yourself, I haven't yet :D
