Some of you may know my current situation where there's a chance I *could* lose my NCB in the near future.

Anyway, I'm currently paying £1280 with Elephant (£1560 actually, as they charged me £280 for paying monthly) for my group 13 220 GSi, 2 years NCB, 8000 miles, Social use only, both parents on policy. I'm 20 years old.

I've just done a quote with the same company for next year... 220 GSi, 0 NCB, 8000 miles, Commuting + SDP, no parents added, 21 years old.

Anyone want to guess the renewal amount?

Long story, but there was an accident on the way to Castle Combe and the guy who had the accident asked me for my details... he wants to blame me for causing it.

That's all I'm prepared to say, sorry :)

Si, yeah, £1270 compared to £800 is a big difference I know, but with any luck it'll drop to a grand when I add my parents. I'll be happy with that outcome!

PMKeates, adding my parents to this years policy shaved around £500 off!! :D

Yep, no worries Samuel.

I'm at my dads' now but will add you when I get home later. :)

I guess if I lose my NCB, I won't have the whole problem of having 'more NCB than years of holding my licence' that I had with some insurers this year... so who knows, maybe I'll find a cheaper company.

Thanks Tink :)

You never know, it may turn out ok and might not come to me having to lose my NCB. But it just suprised me that even with no NCB, it's going to be cheaper than I'm paying at the moment.
