what are peeps thoughts on this.....obviously it isn't like for like but on the whole I think it is ok. The RAM is pretty dump but I can live with that , for now.

On the whole it seems a good deal and an upgrade from what you had. The sound and graphics cards are anyway.

As for the memory i would try to get them to let you have 2x1gb sticks and also try to get a better psu. A lot of Hipers have failed recently, and i mean dozens. Try to get one from a decent manufacturer such as Tagan, Seasonic, OCZ, Enermax etc. I am sure if you explain to them about the Hipers failure rate they will swap it for a better one rather than pay out another claim further down the line.

Edit, Just noticed you now have no watercooling kit. Might be worth pushing them over that.

Looks good I have to say, u get a much better graphic card which is a real plus. Mobo is a quality one although C2D support would be nice, plus u get 2 Pioneer DVD rewriter too. I don't like the PSU though many have failed around here. It will be better with 2*1gb ram but it doesn't matter that much I suppose if you are not ocing.

What about the zalman watercooling kit and the platronic headset are they not replacing it then??

Thanks for the replies, no it looks like they have negleccted to replace the W/c unit. Yeah I'm not a big overclocker....just had the w/c for silence and consistent cool temps. Yeah I have heard the PSU's are a bit poop. I think the actual company are limited with the kit they deal with. Though this isn't my problem as think their reply will bne along the lines of thi is what we have.

I'am over the moon that I'am getting my monitor back....also the RAM sux.
Yeah I was going to ask for some better RAM modules and In 1gb sticks.

To be totally I was saving for an upgrade anyway before I was robbed. So this kit will be sold by summer next year anyway and the funds will be added to my current lot. I think I will ask for a better make of PSU though.
