Anyone know if there are any insurers out there that insure drivers under 25 and allow them to drive any other car (or most other cars)?

Quinn Direct have just given me a renewal of £500 but Direct Line and Curchill were both in the £400s but they don't insure under 25s with DOC.

was only 40 quid when i took out my bell policy, i didnt take it and was planning to phone up and stick it on when i need it. not at 150 quid though.

Wow I only bought my policy just over a week ago and it was £30 or so then  Glad I got in when I did. I'll have to make the most of it because I won't be paying that much extra for it next year :p

They keep changing the price, no doubt it'll be lower by the time you renew. Nobody will tick it at £149.99!

Quinn do (even on their Third party policy). I'm 22, had my license for about a year and can drive any other car as long as it is not a 4x4, a 2 seater sports car and has an engine < 3.0l

Bell charge me £21.95 for DOC, just done another online quote and its the same. If you put your job as mechanic it goes up to some ridiculous figure in the thousands.

Thats lol, if you put motor mechanic it goes up to £1950

It must be a different rate for different jobs.

I just checked again and I've got a policy saved which i will be buying soon and it has doc ticked for £27
