Howdy everyone.

I have a bit of a predicament and I'm wondering if you can help :)

I am purchasing a 05 kawasaki vn800.....I say I am....my boss is buying it and deducting it from my wages.....he is to be the legal owner until it is paid off and I am to be the registered keeper......and that's where my issue is.

I can't seem to find anyone who will insure me as the registered keeper but not the owner......and I was hoping you may have some ideas?

Kindest regards.

Jon

Surely many cars on the never-never are insured in this way? Do the website quote-machines say "no no" when selecting the above?

they just say unable to quote...and of course I can't call as they're closed....and during the day I am unable to either as my place of work is a mobile dead zone signal wise!

Not the cheapest of places but they have a good rep, unlike say; CIA who are cheaper but will try and find any reason not to pay out.

If I were you I'd have a bit of a chat with your boss and see what you can work out. ie - Put you down as the owner for insurance purposes whereas he actually owns it. It sounds like you both have a bit of trust between yourselves so should it go **** up, I'd expect you both to play fair? :)
