I passed my test two years ago at the age of 25. I got a Z 750 after passing and my insruance was £750. Last year was £600, this year £250 :) yay!

That was through Swinton, in case anyone is interested. My renewal from Express Insurance was £415, they were using Axa, which is the same company Swinton uses, go figure. Same details of course.

I passed my test a few months back & bought a ZX7R & got insured for 168 quid with loads of guff chucked on top. When the insurers asked me how long I had passed my test I remember telling her 1 hour & 20 minutes. :D
Being old Finally has some benefit.

I'm on about 450 at 28, 1NCB and 1 fault claim almost 5 years ago. This is for an F800ST. The K1300S I really want is around 1500 quid at the moment! I'm hoping that suddenly drops too! :P

Just insured both mine zzr12 & zx12r same cover for both £190 for the 2 with MCE.

The down side is I am kinda old :)

Mines wasn't bad compared to fully faired bikes + cars. Passed my test and got insured on a bandit 600s a few days later for £750 TPFT inc breakdown cover. Thought that was ok considering I was still 17.
