Hello,

I've been shopping around this morning for my insurance renewal for my 205GTI, and been pleasantly suprised!

@ 22 years old, with 3NCB, good area etc, Kwik Fit have come back with:

£377.06

:D:D

Kwik Fit do car insurance?

so what was your highest quote?

im currently paying £777 with 0NCB on a '05 1.6 Civic Sport, but was quoted upwards of £2500 from some places :D

oh yeh, congrats ?! :p

I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you etc.

/me pays £1500 @ 22, 1 year NCD and 2 declared bumps :(

Yeah, I was suprised too! My higherst quote was over £1300 from Highway.

Got it down to £375 now with Adrian Flux, sorted! Well chuffed with that :D

Getting old has it's merits :p

Paying £450 this year with Greenlight 25yo/3ncb on a Clio 172.

Incidentally, my Greenlight policy is underwritten by Highway.

My insurance isn't too bad this year. £740 fully comp, £200 less than last year :)

23 years old, 4 years ncb, 5 years driving

That is a nice quote westy, my mum is with Kwik Fit, and her renewal she managed to get down to £190 + Free MOT if she renewed. That is on a 1.4 Astra 52 plate, max NCD with 1 non-fault claim.

They do seem pretty competitive if u have the NCD.

My current insurance is with MyMotorQuote (underwritten by HSBC) and am paying £550 TPFT with 1 year NCD. Looking at the current rates i am looking to pay around the £350 with 2 years NCD, or the about £540 if i choose to go Fully Comp.

Got a quote on a 200SX, unmodified with 2 years NCD, fully comp with my mum as a named driver and the best i could get was £950, that was with Admiral.

Am 24 btw :), though not quite out of the young person's age bracket :(

/Edit I have just run the quote through again, as when i did it before i was only 23, and the price has come down £100 to £849 with admiral.

Now to just get my 2nd year NCD
