Been out the TV game for a while since I bought my last one (Samsung UE46ES8000) back in 2012. My toddler has put an end to this one and my insurance company want to replacement it with a Panasonic TX-58DX902B.

I paid £1520 for my old TV back in the day, I could get this in a cash settlement or the above TV, what should I do?

Cheers

TV is being mounted on the wall, thinking that my current bracket doesn't go up 2 58" though, is there anyway of finding out how big it'll take?

...and are bluray 4k players really that expensive :-) You say upscaled, so do they just play 1080p bluray in 4k then?
