My insurance is due for renewal soon, and my renewal quote is £740, almost identical to last year.

I decided to do a bit of shopping round, and like last year I was getting quotes of £700-900 before I even mention the mods, so I was going to stick with my current insurer.

Then a few of the guys on UJCC mentioned Warwick-Davis.

£625 F/C, all mods declared.

result

more spare cash for mods :D

I wish, it's been an expensive few weeks, with Tax, MOT, 4 new tyres, and insurance all coming up at the same time.

I'm very, very skint :(

Slightly OT but can you tax that car as a 1.3?

I can yes, because it's down as a 1.3 on the V5 because it's an import.

The UK cars are down as 2.6 due to an 'agreement' about rotary engines.

Eidolon: That's stupidly cheap, who's that with?

LOL, I just put my FW figure. I was tempted to send a copy of the dyno graph too ;)

Elephant.

For years they wouldn't even quote me then I just thought I'd give them another go the other week and to my surprise my insurance was mega cheap. My gf is insured through them for the CTR too, cheapest by far.

Last time I tried them they were quoting me silly prices. I'll take another look.
