so my zx 10 r insurance is due for renewal in 14 days but i will be on holiday and then i return for 2 weeks then in china for 3 weeks and so summer will pretty much be over. now im with MCE at the moment and i like to ride other bikes on the policy , the price has gone up from last year buy £90 from 250 to 340 something. can any one suggest a good company to use, im 26 with 7 years NC but the search sites are pants and come up at like £300 + with out riding other bikes

Strange, from 25+ onwards I got given riding other bikes cover for no extra, have you tried all the usual? thebikeinsurer, MCN? Bennets? Express? and even the big usual confused and compare will quote bikes now.

ah i will try mcn, express was like over 1k lol, and i did the bike insurer but wasnt that impressed. i will check mcn and bennets cheers

i can go TPFT with BMF ( any 1 heard of them) ? for £206 and that covers other bikes.

I'm with H&R currently, seem decent enough. Good price, cover other bikes and pillion, mods etc... Not had to make a claim though.

H&R were good for me also, again didn't have to make a claim though, that went through her insurance

im currently with MCE its very mixed i do find the customer service bad to say the least with the i cant be bothered approach. i had an online quote from them but didnt cover other bike so i called up and explaind and they said thats the best price i said the price isnt the issue its the cover after 3 mins or repeating my self she looked in to it.

Currently with MCE and I've claimed through them in the past without any hassle tbh,just shop around a lot

Insurance is very specific to individuals, but for the last 4 years I've been with Wicked http://www.wickedquotes.com and they have been excellent in getting a good quote and good customer service too. Always pick up the phone - no foreign call centres or anything.

I paid £160 this year fully comp on the GS.

Bennett came in close to mce but carol nash called and got me in at 325 so i had that.

2year ncb, only just got my full licence, z750 is only £200 for 8k miles and ride other bikes too.

not bad, i have 7 years and i could have gone TPFT for £169 and ride other bikes but i like the extrea peace of mind of fully. the rsv that i had before was 250 FC but that is about 50HP down on the zx10r

what year is you zx10r? I had mine down to £89 tpft with bennets but I had 10 years+ ncb

don't think ive ever been with carol nash,usually they are expensive
