Any recommendations of who to insure my gear with?

Don't have any currently and about to go on holiday too, so would like piece of mind.

I have a D750 and a 24-70 f/2.8, which are the most valuable and a 50mm and filters, ect..

Thanks in advance.

First job is to look at your house contents insurance and see what that covers. Also when you buy holiday insurance some companies let you add additional valuable items.

I use cliik.co.uk but they were bought earlier this year by Hiscox. I've been with them for a few years, but never had to make a claim. I've got a £150 excess on any claim to keep the premiums lower. They offer a new for old type policy if your is beyond economical repair, and you don't need to register the makes, models and serial numbers of all your kit - you just insure for a total value.

There are some restrictions on theft from cars in that when left in a car it must always be locked in the boor out of site, and you aren't covered if you leave your kit in a car overnight.
