Good morning all,
My bike insurance is due at the end of the month and was wondering if it’s worth going fully comp as I’ve always had tpf&t. Bike is a Kawasaki z750r and is probably worth around £3k. The price for tpf&t is £126 which gives me ride other bikes cover or £280 fully comp. is it worth paying for fully comp as I only do about 2k miles a year on the bike?

Thanks
I’m 35 with 2 years ncb and had bike licence since August 2017

It's up to you really. Can you afford to repair/replace the bike if you trash it and you're not fully comp? I go with TPFT because my bike is only worth about £1.5k at best and I'm happy to work on it and fix bits if I do have an off.

This, I went full comp only because it cost me £10 more per year, even then, probably wasn't worth it on my 2003 Suzuki SV650.

If you can afford it always go with full comp and make sure you get Legal Cover as well, its well worth the little bit extra.
