Insurgency mod problems

I just installed the mod. Basically I downloaded a rar file and extracted it to steams' directory I then installed the 1.1 patch.

Just fired up for the very first time and I see this:

Seems like one block-tastic game! What have I done wrong?

I get that sometimes in CSS, exiting the game and opening again fixes it

Nope, it's not like CSS which usually occurs when a map load is corrupt, this seems permanently damaged.

I'v tried a re-install and nothing. Did I install it properly?
