Picked this up a few month ago when it was released ... Wondering if anyone else has got it ? And if so what are your thoughts ? I personally think it's amazing , mostly because of how much of a challenge it is , you've actually got to use caution can't just run and gun , perfect mix between cs:go and arma 3

Yeah that's true ... Although I'm not too bothered about that so I really enjoy it , and the way you can pick your different weapon attachments and body armor ammo etc is perfect !

I'm exactly the same as you, gave it a go on release and is now the only game I play; love it.

Only downside is the lack of maps, although the steam workshop should fix that.

There is talk of the old mod map Sinjar being released next week though along with a few other bits and bobs so looking forward to that.
 
I got the game when it was released (won a code in a Twitch stream actually :D )

Really loved it, gameplay is fantastic and unforgiving. Good sound. Graphically nice and clean.

BUT, for some reason it ran pretty badly on my PC, with the framerate being all over the place.

BUT, installed it again this week actually, and I don't know if there's been a patch or what but it runs beautifully now.

Looking forward to getting properly into it now.
 
Yeah there are a shortage of maps but they will always get released down the line , anyone know any decent servers ?
 
I also have had it for three months now and come from BF4/Arma 3 - the Sinjar map is now released and being played on a number of servers.

It can be a little flaky and I typically get one crash each night, but I love the feel of the weapons, no aiming reticules, no medic/power ups and atmospheric smoke and effects. With many servers running best of 5 round matches I find it is just the right length of game, and can be very hard to get points. There is a little bit of sniping (which I hate in games) but the maps tend to restrict it and make for more CQB engagements. Even considering having a go at map making with hammer.

played this a couple of years ago when it was a free mod. was excellent then, i hope the core gameplay hasn't changed as it was spot on.
 
I got this last week, trouble is when you join a server you have to wait ages before you can actually play as missions are already started. Gave up after that, no time to wait for games to start while they add you to spectate mode.
