Int Exp 7 / 8 Help

My mate put Int explorer 8 on his pc and it worked fine. Now he tells me that when he went on the pc this morning Int explorer 7 was now the default!!?

Any ideas how that has happened?

No, no help here, I didn't actually think it was possible to install both, as I assumed one was an upgrade of the other.

Has his system restored to previous settings?
