this question is going to sound so stupid! but how do I make my case fan a exhaust fan? which way should I install it? When I put it in the label was facing inside the case. Also I'm going to place a side fan how would I make that a intake fan. help needed bad.

The way the arrow points is the way the air is pushed, so if you want the fan to exhaust the arrow should point out of the case.

This is what you're looking for on the case fans:

The one on the side should be pointing inwards into the case and the one at the back of the PC should be pointing out of the case, you can easily feel it with your hand too in what direction the air is going.

Also if you btw google "case fan arrows" you get loads of nice pictures of how airflow in different cases should go. :)

thanks. will it help reduce the temps of my gpu and cpu?

It can make a big difference. Also just removing dust from all existing parts / fans inside the case is a help too.

What is your case and how many fans you got in it at the moment? We may be able to help you put all the fans in the right direction in order to get best possible temps :)

there is a frame side of the fan and there is a nakid side (just see fan blades)
fans always push air in direction of the frame

best bet connect it to a molex or a 3 pin or 4 pin fan header and hold it in your hand and feel the breeze if u dont got marks on it suck air in at side or front and out at top or back is simplest way
