Hi all

Looking to buy a few fans for my new case (Enthoo Evolv ITX)

I'm not sure how to have the fans set up, With the case it's a closed front that has a massive fan behind the front panel so cant imagine a lot of cool air gets in.. How would you guys set the fans up?

I was going to go with:

Top: 1x Intake 1x Exhaust
Rear: 1x Exhaust

I know it's not a mental machine that will produce mad heat but i just like my system to run cool

As a rough guide front and bottom as intake and rear and roof as exhaust. I believe that case can be misleading at first appearance and that ventilation is actually very good at the front. I would probably leave the front with the 200mm intake and stick a 120mm at the rear position and another at the rearmost top position, both as exhausts. Leave the foremost top position empty for now. My reasoning being that you don't want to suck the air out before it's gone over the components. I certainly wouldn't have a top as a intake as all that would likely to achieve is to circulate warm air that has been exhausted from the fan next to it.

Yeah when you look at the case it does seem there is minimal chance of intake around the front of the case... I will go with what you've recommended and leave the Top Front and just fit a couple towards the rear of the case for exhaust

Thank you :)

What case fans does your Evolv ITX have now? The first ones came with a 200mm front intake, but new ones now have 140mm front intake. The 200mm fan is almost worthless.

I would suggest 2x 140mm front intakes, remove unused PCIe back slot covers (not many to work with on ITX). Phanteks PH-F140SP are good and cost £10.99 each

I'm pretty sure mine has the 200mm fan.. I'm going to order a few fans this week to put at the rear and will see about some 140mm ones for the front.. thank you for the links :)
