I just recently got a Akasa Viper fan for my Antec 300 to see what they're like and to obviously cool my system.

But whilst I only have the one, I was wondering, is it better for the intake to be blowing directly onto the GPU to provide cool air, or below it to shift the hot air coming from the card?

(I will definitely buy more for better airflow btw)

None really unless you have a decent front intake. If you blow cool air onto the GPU, the warm air from that will be going to your CPU. You need a fan at the front to blow the warm air from the GPU away from the CPU, whilst providing cool air for the CPU.

Yeah make the fan outtake, its always better to have more air exhausting than being pulled in
