Hey,
I have the antect summetcase and it has a 80mm fan hole next 2 the gfx and i was wundering, Should i put a outtake fan there to get rid of the hot air or add a intake fan to add more cold air. Card is ati x1800xt btw.

Cheers for advice :)

just make sure if yu do have dust filters they are cleaned regularly otherwise you'll notice a rise in temps.
as my case is up by my window the blinds gatehr a lot of dusts which inturn ends up on the foam filters i have on my intakes and the temps rise by a few degrees if i leave them to clog up

Right i have 20quid to get a 120mm and 92mm fan noise is ok to a certain level (amd 64 cpu freezer) so that noise is ok what do you reccomend and as it is compttitor i dont no where i can get dust filters:(

Cheers in advance :)

In the front, out the back, its always the best way mate, it keeps the air moving in one direction and minimises dead spots.

Well ive got one 92mm fan on the side of my case, and two Panaflo 114cfm 120mm fans, one at the front and one at the back,

Ive just put one of the old thermaltake ones on at the very top of the case, i had it sucking air out at first, cause hot air rises, but when i switched it over so it blew air into the case, the temps went down slightly..

the side should be intake, the top should be exhaust just for future reference. You can have as many fans as you like, if they all clash, they wont help temps :p.

I dunno why temps went down, i dont think they should have, like you said, hot air rises, i dont see why pulling air in there would have helped :\.

Oops lol sorry, the 92mm side is an intake, the front 120mm is also an intake, and the back is an exhaust,

So what your trying to say is, the fan at the top of my case (thermaltake fan) should be used as an exhaust, cause heat rises ?

In my experience yes that would work better, it would help expel the heat thats rising to the top of the case rather than it sitting in the case.

Noise is really all personal preference, like people complain to me about things being loud, yet they dont bother me in the least. So i think that would really be up to you whether it was too loud or not mate. If it is, just get a zalman VF900 on it.
