Hey.

Am without a graphics card atm so I decided to use the onboard video for the time being. I get an output fine and can use Windows but when I install the driver for the VGA I get the following...

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

This is in Device Manager. There is a yellow exclamation mark next to the device. Aero isn't running.

I've tried chopping and changing a few things in the BIOS, disabling USB, LAN, parallel/serial ports, and fiddling with the graphics settings but nothing will make these damn drivers run.

Help! :(

Still wrestling with this. From Googling it seems that there's some conflict between the PCI bus and the integrated graphics, but that also it's a Vista issue.

Anybody got any ideas at all? Anything? I'm desperate here. :(

Have you disabled the PCI-E slot on the board? And you must give the on-board graphics some free ram. Say about 32mb to keep you going.

Also whats the board and computer?

System is as follows

E6600
Asus P5K-VM
2GB G.Skill NR-6400
Integrated graphics (obviously)
Raptor 150GB
Corsair HX620
iQon 19" WS TFT

Tried disabling the PCIe slot, makes no difference. And the Integrated graphics have as much memory as I can give them (I get a range of 1MB-8MB).
