Integrated Graphics not working on 2 monitor setup

Hello, I'm trying to make simple office PCs for general use. I have the Asus prime A520M-K motherboard and are having problems getting a simple 2 monitor setup to work using the onboard graphics. Everything works fine on either the VGA or HDMI port. Once 2 monitors are connected both monitors malfunction, flickering on and off. This happens regardless of the whether the IGFX setting is enabled or disabled in the BIOS. This also happens before windows has loaded and so is not a driver issue. This is not a one off hardware fault as I have 3 of these motherboards, brand new, and they all exhibit the same behaviour. Other Prime A520M-K boards purchased earlier this year worked normally on 2 monitors, so I know it should be possible and is not a chipset limitation.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Jamie

Is this testing with the same CPU? The IGP and I believe the display controller is on the CPU so I would try with a different one if possible. Latest BIOS as well?

Is there any difference between the config of the new and old boards? E.g. are the monitors different size or refresh rate?

Is the bios version the same on all the boards?

Thanks for your help so far. The monitors are identical and both work normally with other systems.

I've tried multiple BIOS versions and also the new beta one. I've also tried switching out the CPU for another one without any luck.

What RAM are you using and are you using their profiles? Try resetting CMOS and NOT turniong XMP on, just use JEDEC defaults ?
