Now that we are seing processors with integrated graphics. Are any of these roughly equivalent to stand alone gpu's??

Does anyone know( or know where to find out) what say the equivalents are for say
HD2000
HD2500
HD3000???

I only ask out of curiosity..

The newer ones are meant to be half decent from what I've read out there.

I had an i3 550 with integrated graphics (not sure which variant though) and it was awful. The only thing it would play was HoN. Even Counter Strike (Source) was unplayable.

The AMD inbuilt graphics are massively superior to the Intel ones. The AMD A8 5800K has a 7660 built into it. Unfortunately the cpu side lets the side down a bit.

DampDog, get that 760 clocked!! :D

The integrated Intel cores suck.

The current AMD Llano/Trinity are much better and I have been able to play Skyrim on my 5800K with medium settings and a modest resolution without it being terribly unresponsive/jerky.
