Integrated Tv Tuners

Im looking for a new monitor for the kids room, they currently have sky tv, in the form of an RF cable from the main sky box.

Do i need a Monitor with an Analogue or Digital TV tuner built in, i was hoping i could get a digital one what with the switch over coming soon

Maybe i should have added this is to combine the 17" lcd monitor and 15" tv in there room.

Can anybody help?

Analogue, the digital tuner will be for DVB/Freeview and won't take sky.

Rather then looking at a monitor as such you want an LCD TV with a VGA input.

The monitor is to be mainly used for pc use, gaming really he dont watch much tv only the odd movie.

I was under the impression tv's with vga inputs give poor pc images, he currently has a LG1710B and a my old 7800GTX and plays css quite a bit so the gaming quality has to be quite good.

On a side note i might just give hime my old monitor a Dell 20" and get me 2 of the LG M228WA for my office

Whats the gaming like compared to my Dell 20" 2005fpw

Thats the exact monitor ive been looking at... Ive been looking for some reviews of it, cant find any. Does anyone know were i could find one, or are there any opinions on this monitor for gaming?

Is that gtx 256mb or 512mb? Would 256mb be enough for a 22"?

Na im using a 8800GTX the old 7800GTX is in the kids pc
