I currently have an integrated washing Machine which I wanted to replace for an integrated washer dryer. After looking around I noticed that most have a width of 60cm or just under which is standard.

After measuring the space I have it seems that it is a little under 60cm and is more like 595mm due to a dish washer being next to it and taking up a little extra room.

Has anyone got any suggestions or aware of any brands that sell integrated washer dryers which come up a little smaller than 595mm?

I would say that any machine you replace your present one with will fit. They are all designed to fit into a 60cm aperture but they are not 60 cms wide themselves. If you have a machine there now then a new one would fit.

There are machines that er narrower but they are only 40 or 50 cm wide.

This is probably true but I would imagine some brands will be wider than others?
Was hoping someone would have some knowledge or even have one which they can tell me is definitely smaller!

This article may be of some help. The author talks about the different exact widths and has a chart of 33 machines that he measured, but he doesn't tell us what the exact brand and machine is. The result seems to be that there are machines that will fit your space but you will need to actually do out and measure them. Perhaps a trip to Currys or somewhere?

Washer dryers can be a pain as very often the dryer capacity is much lower than the wash capacity. At least that was my findings but this was a decade or more ago So it might have changed. Also much more to go wrong too.

Would have the same issue if it was a washing machine too.

Helpful link thank you. Went to curry’s and they only had one on show which was annoying

My one tip would be avoid Currys like the plague for any white goods!

Took me 6 months to sort out the crap that happened when I ordered washer/dryer from them.
