Intel 1600FSB CPU coming Q1 2008

If a Q9300 runs at 2.5 and has 6mb cache = 1.5mb cache per core is it not better to go for a E8500 at 3mhz with 6mb = 3mb per core??

I would say the current Q6600 is a more direct competitor to the Q9300 than the E8500.
