hoping someone can help me out here please.

just set up a new PC and everything is working fine apart from not having the option in bios to enable 200s boost

i have updated the bios to latest 1801, reset bios to default but just seem to get the option in my bios.
set ram to xmp and restarted but still no 200s boost.

asus b860 - i gaming - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...-1851-ddr5-atx-motherboard-mot-asu-04069.html
gskill trident z5 - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/trid...4-7200mhz-dual-channel-kit-mem-gsk-01365.html

i have checked the ram on gskill it shows as supporting 200s boost so all parts should be compatible unless im missing something?
im assuming the motherboard supports this.

any help would be appreciated

Early docs seem to suggest Z890 only, but I'm not sure. It would likely be in an OC menu somewhere. I'd turn off XMP too.
thank you, i will look into this but that might be it.

is there a reason u suggest turning xmp off?

From what I'm aware of, the boost is kind of like xmp for CPUs, it is just a profile that configures the board in a certain way. Due to that, I wonder if manual config of the settings that it plays with might cause a conflict and hide the option.

ok i understand what you mean.

it seems your first suggestion was correct, having checked z890 boards, their bios updates specifically state 200s boost feature in updated from arpil/may. not sure if this is something that will be added to b860 boards in the future.
