Intel 2CV102HD firmware - Does anyone have it?

Hi all,

Just purchased two of the Intel 80 gig SSD vers 2 drives for an upgrade. I am intending to set them up in a raid config for win 7. The problem is I cannot update the firmware to the latest 2cv102hd version as every time i boot from the cd it gets as far as the freedos and then just hangs there and never fully loads.

So far I have tried burning the cd three times both with built in windows iso burning and my own burning software - have even tried different dvd drives but still same result. Have also tried it with only the two intel drives connected to my machine with the dvd drive and still no go. Have also downloaded the update software from Intel three times - still the same.

Anybody know what is wrong? can you e mail me the iso as perhaps all my copies are just corrupt????

Any ideas ? I am stumped at the mo on this one so would appreciate your input peeps.

Are the drives set to IDE and legacy in your BIOS (Integrated Peripherals page)?

Have you removed all USB drives/devices? I've seen these cause this type of hang.

Hi there,

Ta very much for the reply - I am going to have to hang my head in shame as I had not set the drives to IDE - had them set as AHCI. Soon as I set it to IDE it worked just fine and now updated. I really should take more notice of instructions.
