Intel 4570 VS Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3

You looking at the x99 chips right. There the ones that are unlocked. Not all of then but some. The v3 on socked 1150 will be locked.
 
From what I’ve read the 1650v3, 1660v3 and the 1680v3 are all unlocked.

One of the ES v4’s (can’t remember the exact model) is also unlocked but with it being an ES, the choice of supported motherboards is limited.
