Chances are it's nothing to worry about but just checking.
I had a random cooler on my 4790k, and reseated the cooler a number of times (Clearing the old Artic Silver 2*I think) off each time, and now just replaced it with the H110i.
However, using 'Real Temp GT 3.70' core '2' is always higher than the others dispite the change in cooler.
EG:
@ Idle 22-27-22-22.
@ Load 46-52-46-44.
Never overclocked it, but I am running a XMP ram profile.
To paste, a small pea size blob of in the centre of the CPU and screwed the cooler down as hard as I can get it, however with the H110 I've left the stock paste on for now.
Is this normal?
