I think anything deemed as 'i7' supports Hyper-threading.

Thanks, yes from what I can see all i7s (quad or hex) have hyperthreading.

Yes. there may be exceptions in the Xeon range, but for desktop, YES.

Yes, by 'all' which only includes the 3930k and 3960X (on the desktop side) both have hyperthreading. On the server side with Xeons, there may be non hyperthreaded 6 core CPUs but I'm not sure.

Yep, although the question was for someone who was purchasing a Dell 6-core, and possibly the Dell BIOS may not have had the capability to disable it. But from a bit of googling I think even the basic Dell BIOS does have the option.
