48GB yes, they're plentiful, but 64GB, I haven't seen any.

I haven't seen yet either. I'd suggest either the announcement was premature, or manufacturers want to milk 48gb modules for a bit longer

In development doesn’t mean launching now but sure, they may just be working with current DIMM capacities until either there’s enough demand for it or they’ve run out of profit margin on the 48gig and below capacities.
