HI,
I just installed an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 half-height PCI-E card into my Dell Inspiron 14z (n411z).
The installation was fine and I got the drivers installed and connected wireless to the network, however, despite the link speed reporting as 300Mbps, the download speed only reaches half of what I should achieve. Upload is fine though.
I've tried disabling the bluetooth part of the card, but that didn't help. Changed to 802.11a so that the 2.4Ghz band was disabled, again no joy. Also tried just connecting to the 2.4GHz band on the router, but the speed is more still.
Not sure if its an aerial problem, they seemed to click in fine when I installed it.
Anyone have any ideas?
