I am asking for a friend as he is driving himself absolutely crackers every single day for 6 days now trying to figure out what is causing his mouse stuttering.
He has re installed windows 3 times,
Installed all bios and mobo firmware and all windows updates.
Installed all latest drivers.
Run bios at stock settings
tried different usb slots
Mouse is a M65 pro (but happened on a different mouse also when swapped)
Motherboard is a Gigabyte z390 aorus pro wifi
32gb of Corsair Dominator 3200
Any suggestions or someone that has been through this with any help would be a massive help before he drives me mad too and then buys a new cpu and motherboard out of kookoo
EDIT - So if he sets XMP for the ram the problem goes away, but anything other than that causes a 1/2 second stutter on the mouse in windows and games. So I guess that fixes it in a strange round about way....... though not ideal any other suggestions to this could help with being able to OC the system in the future without this issue.
