I have an intel atom equipped acer veriton nettop pc that i would like to overclock.

i have done as much research into it as i can but i've hit a brick wall after nearly getting as rock oc tuner to run on it. its not native to the application but a .ini fix was sposed to alleviate the issue

it didnt

anyone had any experience of o/c'ing this cpu

its coupled to a nm10 chipset and an nvidia ion (2) graphics processor

cheers

Ben

If there are no overcloclocking options in bios, you need a free program called 'SetFSB'.

Google it and have a look if your particular chipset/CPU is supported. You'll then need to work out which clock generator you have and set it up accordingly. Good luck :p

doh :-(

never mind, i figured someone on here may of had a crack at it, i can hold out hope that someone else may see this thread

but it is a bit of an obscure bit of hardware and as said the revo which i know has been overclocked seems to have a different mainboard and pll :-(

I went through the same process with my netbook before working out it was impossible to overclock it. If you want to overclock an atom you need to specifically buy one that allows it. The vast majority of them seem to be locked down.
