So wondering about the difference between the n270 and n450 for a 10.1" netbook.
The n450 is bound to be better BUT will it really make a NOTICEABLE difference during normal everyday tasks such as web browsing, creating documents, watching videos, listening to music?

I'm sure the answer is not really. But just wanted to get another opinion.

Besides a netbook isn't really supposed to be a powerhouse right...?

The N450 has integrated graphics, and is a more energy efficient.

You'd get better performance increase with a dual core atom (N5xx), but I don't think they are out yet.

So not a performance increase, but efficiency, battery life and size benefits. Mostly marginal.

Yeah, although the current trend is to use the improved efficiency for reducing battery size, lowering weight and costs, while keeping a similar overall battery life compared to previous generation netbooks. To be fair, anything above 8-10 hours is already OTT :) Nobody should be 10 hours away from a wall socket!
