Looking for a mini pc with the 4gb + 64gb emmc
Configuration and depending on model the prices are a little all over the place.

I'm not bothered about a chassis with 2.5 drive option, I dont mind if it has the option or not, but its price/performance spec im after.

Ok your gonna want the latest atom quad core you can get that way u get decent speed and the gpu gpu will be capable of decoding everything including hevc h265 etc. Trust on this that the gpu needs to be on the ball because if you have to fall back onto software rendering on high rez high bitrate h265 your gonna be in a world of hurt.

I have a much older lenovo q180 thats got atom dual core d2700 cpu 4gig ram and has amd gpu used for emulators and retrogaming. Its more than capable.

Newest atom cpu i forgot the model is ok for media center work.

Depending on what your using it for dont rule out those android media players that run full android. S922 cpu is decent in them does all video decoding and no over heads of running Windows.

thanks for reply.

my use is just office based really, i want to start a small business from home which is why i was looking at these machines as they will have enough power for my uses and can mount to screen. i already have a pi zero set up for retro gaming, i also did think to get another pi model for chrome os, but i dont know yet. i do have an android tv box thats been sitting in draw for many months that i thought i could replace os with something more useful, but dont know the possibilities.

i can use my laptop or possibly my Note 10 phone, but i want business related stuff to be separate.

J5005 is the cpu your gonna want. Although next year the j6 be out

thanks for reply.

while i didnt state a price as that wasnt quite part of the question, those sort or anything J will be too much, ideally upwards of £100 or £130 at a max due to the nature of use which limits me to older spec models.
