Intel Badaxe 2

Badaxe 1's are dissapearing, Badaxe 2 was released a couple days ago with worldwide availability according to Intel.

Where are them.

hmmm cant see any differences, in terms of specification... board layout seems alittle different(red sata port, capacitor here and there)...
i wonder if they sorted the bios out and unlocked the fsb features from the get go, so you dont have to do any soldering

Apprently the new board gives better Quad Core performance, the badaxe 1 was apprently not too good.

I think im gunna have a fit. The whole plan was to move to Quad core at some point, now im hearing that the board i bought sucks for it?? Ace.

believe that post may have been unfounded... until i see benchmarks of badaxe 1 vs badaxe 2 im unconvinced...

with quad cores

bad axe 1 has a fit with fsb higher than 270.

bad axe 2 is fine into the 300s. (from what ive seen)

yeah i saw a comparison one and the FSBs seem better and also the steppings and bios functions for overclocking were A LOT better.

maybe someone can link it but i cant atm
