It sounds like all the profile does is revert to Intel's settings, which unless I'm missing something, Asus should have been following in the first place?

Not sure what every other manufacture's settings are like, but yeah Asus has a rep to push clocks more with mce, both on intel and amd. odd we dont have reports of simliar crashing on amd systems. unless i've been living under a rock XD
