Intel Bay Trail performance preview thread

OTH,the GPU looks like it will probably be outdated before it will even make full production. Some of the new ARM based SOCs seem to have faster IGPs,and I wonder how the 64 bit ARM cores will stack up?? The Apple A7 is the first of this new ARM breed.

I think over the next year, the battleground is going to be quite interesting!

Why would it have SATA and PCI-E support? It's for Tablets isn't it?
They never even launched clovertrail for laptops/netbooks (Which tbh, they don't need to anymore, they can throw out Haswell Pentiums for that task now)

AFAIK,its one chip covering tablets, low end desktops and sub-notebooks.

I suspect, both SATA and PCI-E probably ups power consumption a decent amount so that is why they have been deactivated.

It will be interesting to see how much the mini-ITX Bay Trail motherboards cost??

I wonder how much of a performance boost it would be compared to an E3400 and Nvidia 9300 IGP?? OTH,maybe a IB or Haswell Celery would make more sense.
