Ive heard I can test stability quicker with IBT... ive run it initialy with 5 runs on standard and it ran 8'c hotter than Prime95 with a max of 77'c on one of the cores (2500k @ 4.4Ghz with Auto Voltages)

is it 10 runs?

thanks

as many as you physically can be patient enough for :p i left mine for 50 runs, a good 4hours of prime and loads of benchtests, BSOD after a few mins of crysis. so i would rely 100% on stress testing. use it and see how it feels, and if its stable for your everyday needs.

thanks joeyjojo will do - just on standard i was getting 109 GFLOPS so near enough but will do what you say and hit it for 30 runs

ok i ran it on HIGH (2048Mb) with all apps closed and AV off for 25 runs and it passed but I got a max temp of 81'c on 2 of the cores but it didnt go beyond that - i hit 114 GFLOPS for most of the runs

is that acceptable? we dont have any case fans on it yet, get them next week

there is also a difference of 7'c between core0 and core1 on idle and 10'c at max temps ..is this normal? during IBT when core1 and core2 hit 81'c, core0 was 71'c (core3 was 77'c)
