Just wondering if anybody has any idea on what Intel are planning on to replace the current pitiful lineup that is the Celeron?

Do they have a cut down Core Solo with 1MB Cache and maybe only a 667FSB? I think the value segment is where AMD are currently still very strong as the Sempron 64's are very good value for money.

Someone must know something :)

well they have something along those lines for the mobile chips. They are the Celeron 4xx series, based on core solo's. For now, all intel's done is drop the price of netburst Celeron D's. 2.53Ghz ones from £34 right here at ocuk
