Apparently comes from a recent Dell conference

Shows that Intel plans to launch another skylake refresh at the end of 2019 with 10 core 14nm+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ chips

Q1' 20 consumer for Comet Lake damn... I thought the rumour was Q3 19, looks like I'll be grabbing a 9900K unless the upcoming Ryzen can match the Intel's single thread performance.

Same here except I’ve just ruled out 9900k and z390 for myself. Only reason is I want pci-e 4. So it’s either Ryzen 3000 or looks like I’ll have to wait for the end of the year

first Intel 10nm processor will begin shipping in June, with multiple new products coming through 2019 and 2020.

It’s laptop chips only

Not only that but it’s not a launch technically. Intel launch a couple 10nm laptop chips last year already - they were awful though

And there is no 10nm for desktop this year.

It’s 14nm++ 10 core for end of 2019 launch on desktop

Then 10nm XX core when yields and capacity are ready for desktop
