Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.86GHz

How much faster is a Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.86GHz compared to my Pentium Dual Core 930 D 4ghz (overclocked). Anyone got any PI results for this processor?

I'm really thinking about selling my old asus p5wd2 premium mobo + pentium d 930 and get a the conroe cpu + a new mobo. Can someon recommend a mobo that is as good as my old mobo?

I would say that at stock it wont be faster but at around 2.6ghz it would beat your current CPU

I'd love to know this too. I'm a cheapskate! I can't find E6300 benchmarks anywhere, anyone found some?

It is about 5% slower than the Pentium D 965 and maybe 10-15% slower than the FX-60, but thats before you clock it of course

It is more for the Intel Nforce 590 but it covers results for the 6300/6400/6600/6700 speeds compared to the 965, FX-60 and FX-62

Amazing, even the cheapest Conroe, the E6300, is slugging it out with the current-day big boys! Guess I'm going to be stretching my "new gaming rig" budget even further to fit one of these in + a conroe mobo...
