Hi im sat here looking at my checkout including an Intel Core 2 DUO E6400 "LGA775 Allendale" 2.13GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-127-IN)

Unfortunately overclockers shut 20 mins ago just wondering if anybody knows when these are due in, status says pre-order at the moment

He wants the retail version, personally I would just get the OEM and buy a good heatsink like the:-

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) (HS-017-AR)

Total cost is much the same, and you get a considerably better cooler.

That seems a plan, would that give me better overclocking potential?

As far as I'm aware that HS is significantly better than the stock retail on, so you should be able to squeeze a little bit more out of your CPU. Something like a Scythe Ninja would be even better but it's a bit more expensive.

arctic freezer is a very good cooler, has kept my temps at defaults speeds idling 31-32
