Wait for the price of the e6600 to drop first..

secondly depends on whether you want to overclock or not?

if you oc, then it boils down to do you need the extra multiplier offered on the e6600? as for how well they overclock, its hard to tell as not many people have the e6420, but on the e6600 you will get about 3.4-3.6ghz give or take a little.

if i had to leave it at stock, then i would definitely get the e6600.
